Information on joining the Japan Timber Export Promotion Association

Member benefits

  • We will promptly inform you of information regarding the standards and regulations of the countries to which you are exporting timber.
  • We will regularly send statistical information on Japanese timber exports via email.
  • We will notify you as soon as the latest research reports, business reports, booklets, etc. are available.
  • You can immediately view the latest overseas timber information.
  • We will promptly notify you of events held by our association (information on seminars, exhibitions, business meetings, etc.), information on auxiliary projects, bidding information, and information related to the export of Japanese wood products obtained by our association.
  • We will cooperate with members when they conduct surveys, etc. related to timber exports.
  • We will provide you with detailed advice regarding inquiries and consultations regarding the export of Japanese timber.
  • We will post the business name and banner on the website operated by our association to promote ourselves as a business engaged in exporting both domestically and internationally.

Membership fee

Membership fee : Free

Annual fee : Varies depending on the amount of timber exported

*Special supporting member: Local government (exemption from membership fee)
*Membership fees will be updated every year. However, if you join in November, December, January, February, or March, your renewal will be in March of the following year.

Less than 100 million yen 60,000 yen
100 million to less than 500 million yen 100,000 yen
500 million to less than 1 billion yen 200,000 yen
1 billion to less than 5 billion yen 300,000 yen
5 billion to less than 10 billion yen 400,000 yen
10 billion yen or more 500,000 yen
*Membership fees will be updated every year. However, if you join in November, December, January, February, or March, your renewal will be in March of the following year.

If you wish to become a member, you can apply using one of the following two methods.
